Nick Suomala, Co-Owner & Operations Manager

Nick, joined the Quality Collision team in August, 2022 and has now become a co-owner. He has worked in the auto body industry for several years. His insight on estimating, repairs and vehicle inspections is his top priority serving new and ongoing customers. He works closely with all involved throughout the collision repair process with final delivery to customers' satisfaction. He's a highly skilled Shop Manager and Estimator involved in insurance claims and repair follow-through. Nick grew up in the Duluth area and attended Denfeld High School. Nick enjoys the process of helping make vehicles look as good as new again and the challenge of troubleshooting along the way..

He's meticulous in auto body management and customer service details, and sure to invite your business with a gentle smile and calm demeanor.

Megan Lazzaro, Co-Owner & Office Manager

Megan Lazzaro joined the Quality Collision team in August, 2022 as the new Office Manager and has now become a co-owner.. Her Bachelor of Business Administration degree from University of MN, Duluth and warm personality has given her the edge as a cut-above to take care of Quality Collision customer inquiries, feedback and updates. She ensures vehicle drop-off, updating and the pick-up goes smoothly throughout. Her friendly style makes the collision repair process enjoyable. Megan has a passion for business systems and finding ways to make customer experiences better. Megan also grew up in the Duluth area and attended Denfeld High School.

During her senior year at Denfeld, she converted her Chevy Cavalier to a “Super-Cav” during her time as the school’s Super-Fan Mascot. The car was painted and sponsored by Quality Collision, among other local businesses.

Marty Rudh, Estimator & Production Manager

Marty became a part of the Quality Collision customer service team after being hand chosen by Dave in August, 2016. His duties include customer service, estimates, insurance coordination, ordering of parts, and vehicle inspection. Often you will receive information directly from him regarding updates on the status of your collision repairs. Thorough inspection of your vehicle prior to delivery includes panel alignment, compound in jambs, paint quality – color matching – texture, and washing and cleaning. On a day-to-day basis he discusses your repairs with your insurance carrier and the best parts and options available.

His background stems from years in the business. He started at Lake Superior College in auto body as a junior in high school, graduating from LSC in 2001. Additionally he attended WyoTech for 15 months and took Collision/Refinishing, Applied Service Management, Hot Rod Custom Paint/Body, and Street Rod Chassis Fab courses. Over the course of 14 years he worked in auto body detailing, and repair and service, prior to his position at Quality Collision.
